Originally, the school was called Kyung Sung Public Agricultural College. In 1997, the school officially used the name Seoul Sirip University - University of Seoul (UOS) as it is today.

2.1. Korean language program

The Korean Language Center at Seoul Sirip University (KLCP) is an institution that teaches Korean as well as popularizes Korean culture for international students who want to improve their Korean language skills.

A year of learning Korean at Seoul Sirip University is divided into 4 small semesters, each semester takes place for 10 weeks, each week has 5 study days (Monday - Friday). The curriculum is divided into 2 levels, from beginner to advanced. Upon admission, students will have to take an entrance test to conduct class division.

The size of a class ranges from 10 to 16 students, so you can be assured of the quality of teaching as well as the ability to follow up with students. Students must attend class for at least 160 hours and must not be absent for more than 40 hours, otherwise they will not be promoted to the next class.

In the first week of each semester, if students leave school without reason, they will be suspended from school, have their visas cut off and will not be able to receive their tuition fees back.

The tuition fee for the Korean language program at Seoul Sirip University is 5,400,000 KRW/year (including cultural experience expenses). The admission fee is 50,000 KRW.

4. Scholarship Program at Seoul Sirip University

4.1. Korean Language Program Scholarship
